Brian Edmund Posehn (born July 6, 1966) is an American actor, voice actor, musician, writer, and comedian. Posehn came to prominence as a cast member on Mr. Show with Bob and David, portraying various characters on the sketch comedy from 1995 to 1998. He then portrayed Eddie in short-lived sitcom The Army Show (1998) before earning his first major role as Kevin Liotta in Just Shoot Me! (from 1999 to 2003).

Career

Posehn appeared as Brian Spukowski in the Comedy Central series The Sarah Silverman Program (2007 to 2010) and was in another sketch show, Human Giant, between 2007 through 2008. He also had a recurring role on The Big Bang Theory as geologist Bert Kibbler. Posehn portrayed Shady in the action-adventure series Deadly Class (2019).

Well known for his nasally voice and deadpan style of humor, Posehn has found success in the voice over industry, providing the voices of Jim Kuback in Mission Hill (1999 to 2002), Del in 3 South (from 2002 through 2003), Crocco in Out of Jimmy's Head (between 2007 to 2008), Octus in Sym-Bionic Titan (2010 through 2011), Sour Cream in Steven Universe (from 2014 to 2017) and Fingers in Ginger Snaps (2017). His video game work includes voicing Brian in Star Warped (1997), Grunt in Halo 2 (2004), reprising the role of Octus in FusionFall (2009) and Axel in Minecraft: Story Mode (2015 to 2017).

He guest starred on The Mighty B! episode Sweet Sixteenth as Ride Guy. Posehn holds the distinction of having been the first guest star in the series.
