Cha-Cha is a dog and member of The Dragonflies, a troop in Oakland, California.
Cha-Cha's voice was provided by Dee Bradley Baker, who went uncredited for the role.
Cha-Cha first appears alongside the other Dragonflies at the Recreation Center's pool, arguing with the Honeybees over ownership of the pool. However, as the Dragonflies leave the area, Cha-Cha stops for a moment, lifts her eyepatch and gives Happy a wink before running away.
At the start of the Chelsea Challenge, Cha-Cha stops once more to lovingly bark at Happy while waving her hand towards him. Happy barks back at her, which alerts Bessie to the fact the Dragonflies have a head start.
While Happy is using his sense of smell to follow the Dragonflies' trail, Cha-Cha is looking at him from behind a building and smiles. Happy himself smiles, and now smitten with her, happily barks and follows her to the farmer's market, with the Honeybees following suit.
Later, Cha-Cha celebrates by howling on the ferry when the Dragonflies have taken the lead and seemingly won the Chelsea Challenge, that is until they see dolphins ridden by the Honeybees catching up to them.
After the Honeybees win and hold a celebration, Cha-Cha walks near Happy, takes off her collar and puts it on him. Maude demands Cha-Cha come back to her, which she does; but not before blowing Happy a kiss.
Cha-Cha is a purple furred dog who has a black nose, red eyes and light purple muzzle. Her chest is the same shade of color, while the rest of her body is dark purple. Cha-Cha wears a black eyepatch over her left eye, which has a noticeable red scar over it. Lastly, she has on red lipstick and a black diamond studded collar.
- She was named after the Cuban music and dance genre Cha-cha-cha.
- Maude might be her owner, as she was the one to tell Cha-Cha to come with her and the other Dragonflies after their loss.
