Mr. Pants is Ben's teddy bear in The Mighty B!. He often goes to the bear for advice, in much the same way Bessie seeks guidance from Finger. Mr. Pants makes his debut in "Name Shame," but appears much more frequently in the second season.
Although not a major part of the show, Mr. Pants plays a much larger role than usual in the second season episodes "O Brother, What Art Thou?" and "Stuffed Happens," where he is the antagonist under the villainous persona "Mr. Evil Pants."
Being an inanimate object, Mr. Pants lacks a voice actor.
Biography[]
For the most part, Mr. Pants appears whenever Ben needs guidance of some sort, acting as a sort of conscience and imaginary friend for Ben. Other times, he often plays games with the bear, such as jacks.
When Ben becomes the Mighty B's arch-nemesis (the Hurtful Hornet) in "O Brother, What Art Thou?," he puts black pants with a flame on Mr. Pants. Mr. Pants (known as Mr. Evil Pants in this episode and the next) convinces Ben to steal all of Bessie's badges. Although Bessie and Ben make up, Mr. Evil Pants runs off with the badges.
Bessie and Ben end up at the county fair, where they seemingly save Mr. Pants and Bessie's badges. At the end of that episode, Ben insists Mr. Evil Pants had negatively influenced him while he was evil, but Bessie nor Happy believe him.
However, as revealed in the following episode "Stuffed Happens," who they actually got was a fake Mr. Pants who looks identical to him. It turns out the real Mr. Pants (going by Mr. Evil Pants) was hiding inside a giraffe won by Millie at the fair. Because Ben and Bessie caused Millie to spin, she vowed vengeance against them and, following Mr. Evil Pants' advice, became the villain known as The Ghastly Grr-affe.
With Mr. Evil Pants' help, Millie framed Bessie for things she didn't do and nearly had her expelled from the Honeybees. Once Bessie confronts Mr. Evil Pants at a picnic, he reveals this was all part of his plan. With the help of Ben (now the Helpful Hornet) and Happy, Bessie apprehends Mr. Evil Pants and takes off the black pants Ben had given him the episode prior, as that was the reason Mr. Evil Pants had turned to the dark side.
After this episode, Mr. Pants returns to normal, presumably because his evil pants were removed. It is hinted at the end of "Stuffed Happens," however, that he was not quite finished wreaking havoc.
Physical appearance[]
Mr. Pants is a blue teddy bear with black beady eyes and dark blue nose. His stomach, nose and insides of his ears are white. He also has a pink tongue sticking out. His clothing consists of a red bowtie and orange flannel pants, with dark red buttons and orange pockets.
