Lynne Rae Naylor (born November 7, 1953) is an artist who works in the animation industry. On The Mighty B!, she storyboarded four episodes of the series. Alongside Katie Rice, the two are the only women to have worked on the show as storyboard artists.

Her husband, Chris Reccardi, was also a storyboard artist for the show. They married in 1994,[1] and remained together for 25 years until his death in 2019.

Career

Naylor's earliest credit was designing layouts for the 1982 television film The Smurfs Christmas Special. She worked on other Hanna-Barbera series, such as Snorks and The Jetsons.

Having been a co-founder of Spümcø, she was heavily involved with The Ren & Stimpy Show throughout its entire run, working as director, character designer, background artist and even voice acting.

She served as character designer for Batman: The Animated Series and was a storyboard artist on The Powerpuff Girls.

Naylor continued character design during the 2000s, working as such on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. She was art director for the Cartoon Network series Chowder.

During the 2010s, she designed for Fish Hooks and was storyboard artist for SpongeBob SquarePants.

As of 2020, Naylor and Sunil Hall were executive producers of The Mighty Ones for DreamWorks.[2]
