Michael Patrick "Mike" Bell[1] works as a writer, storyboard artist, director and voice actor in the animation industry.

On The Mighty B!, Bell wrote two episodes and voiced various minor characters in them. He is not to be confused with prolific voice actor Michael Bell.

In childhood, Bell was interested in comic books and wanted to be an artist for the genre, inspired by Jack Kirby.[1] However, by his teenage years, Mike instead sought to enter the animation industry, citing Jay Ward as an influence.[1]

He studied at the California Institute of the Arts.[2] Bell frequently plays Santa Claus in animated productions, including Oh Yeah! Cartoons, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Powerpuff Girls and The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show. In 2013, he voiced White Shadow in Turbo, a role he reprised in the series Turbo FAST.

As a writer, he penned episodes of My Life as a Teenage Robot, The Fairly OddParents, Ape Escape and Sanjay and Craig. Bell has storyboarded for Class of 3000, Neighbors from Hell, Chowder and Mickey Mouse.

Bell has worked behind the scenes on the films The Tigger Movie, Puss in Boots and The Croods.
