Nisa is a member of the Honeybees and appears to be Indian-American.
Although she is one of the nameless characters in the Honeybee troop, her name can be seen written on storyboards released by the show's artists on their blogs.
In the series
Nisa was first seen at the fun fare at the rollercoster and was one of may Honeybees that rode the rollercoaster but at one stage she kept throwing up and had to puke. she would later have to leave the rollercoaster alongside other Honeybees when Bessie and Happy got VIP seating.
Nisa was also one of the many girls to go to the Museum to learn about the human body. Nisa would also ride in a rollercoaster modeled after red blood cells to see how the body works.
Was seen leaving the Honeybee meeting after Bessie and Penny arrived late.
Bessie soon tricked her and other Honeybees into thinking there were free jellybeans in the meeting room in order for them to stay and find a substitute troop leader.
Later on Bessie`s mother Hilary came to replace Mary Francis Gibbons who was away and Nisa began to have some fun, at one stage she and a nameless Honeybee did art together and dipped her in the paint without using a paint brush. Nisa was one of the girls to go to the wharf, believing the sash to be a symbol of patriarchal oppression. She was soon stopped by Bessie who claimed desecrating the sash is "unspeakable."
- Nisa's video was going to be shown in "To Bee or Not to Bee," but was later cut, presumably due to time constraints.
- Portia states in "Toot Toot" all members of Troop 828 are 10 years old, save for Bessie.
- Revealed on Bessie's list of potential Honeybees who framed her in "Stuffed Happens." Image here.
