Richard Pursel has worked as a writer in the animation industry since 1992. On The Mighty B!, he co-wrote "Tour D'Alcatraz" with Brendan Hay.
From Milford, Michigan,[1] Pursel penned several episodes of The Ren & Stimpy Show, later working on its adult variant.
After leaving the series, he supplied scripts for 2 Stupid Dogs, Cow and Chicken and I Am Weasel.
During the 2000s, Pursel wrote for Poochini's Yard, SpongeBob SquarePants and Tom and Jerry Tales.
He remained active throughout the 2010s, writing episodes of Ben 10: Omniverse, Mighty Magiswords and Victor & Valentino.
